Dr. Ivan Gumula
Head of Department
Organic Chemistry
Dr. Ivan specializes in organic synthesis and natural products chemistry. He has published over 30 research papers and currently leads the Organic and Natural Product lab.
Dr. Justus Masa
Senior Lecturer
Physical Chemistry
Dr Justus Masa specializes in electrocatalysis and energy conversion, focusing on low-cost catalysts for clean energy systems. He leads the FlowPhotoChem project, developing photoelectrochemical reactors for CO₂ conversion.He is alos the patron of CHETESA
Mr. Akampurira Denis

Natural Products Chemistry
Mr. Denis focuses on the chemistry of medicinal plants and their applications in drug discovery. He is also the faculty advisor for the Chemistry Technology Students Association.

Mr. Olado manages the chemistry teaching and research laboratories, ensuring all equipment is functional and safe for student use. He has over 6 years of experience in laboratory management.

Mr. Kalisa is responsible for maintaining chemical inventories and assisting with laboratory preparations. He has expertise in analytical instrumentation and safety protocols.
